About Jaylee RogerJaylee Rodger is originally from Charleston, South Carolina, but has made a home in Gloucester for almost ten years. Rodger is extremely skilled in navigating cutting-edge real estate technologies, and using her research skills to locate the most current real estate information available. Rodger has experience in database building and management, website building, freelance editing, and publications.
Rodger is a graduate of the College of William and Mary, where she majored in English. Rodger also studied at Rappahannock Community College, where she was the 2010-2011 Commonwealth Legacy Scholar. Rodger revisited William and Mary in 2015 to deliver a guest lecture for a former professor in a class that had been inspired by the work Rodger had done. In 2008, Rodger was voted one of the Top Ten Young Poets in Appalachia, and Rodger has been published in various literary journals, including Coup d’Etat out of Boston University.
In her free time, Rodger enjoys spending time with family, sewing, baking, working on home improvement projects, and tending to her garden and chickens. Rodger also volunteers with a local medieval reenactment group, Harvest Faire, to organize an annual event to benefit a different charity each year.
